Eugene Stanton Carte, 48 of Cedar Grove, formerly of Ward, died Sunday at home apparently of a heart attack.
He was a native of Ward, a veteran of World War II, and a retired miner.
Surviving, three sons and one daughter all of Elkhart, Ind; mother Mrs. Evelyn Carte Owens of Cedar Grove; brothers James A. of Belle, Everett J. of Rowe, Va., and Thurman E. of Cedar Grove.
Service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, Cedar Grove, with the Rev. Wade Kidd officiating. Burial will be in Ward Cemetery, Ward.
