Martha Anderson, age 74, passed away Tuesday morning, April 27, 1971 at the Mapes Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 29 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Rev. O. F. Pittack, officiating with burial in Grace Hill Cemetery.
She was born Martha Schafer May 5, 1897 at Hawarden, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Adolph Witt.
She was married to Chris Scheifen and later married to Herbert Anderson. He preceded her in death in November, 1965. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Milton (Margaret) Meyer of Sioux City, and one son, Leland Schiefen, of Port Orchard, Washington, two grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Eva Heuer of Hawarden.
