Stephen K. Mosesian, a Fresno native, was born on July 21, 1913.

As a story-teller, Steve reflected on the changes he had experienced throughout his lifetime whether it was going to town with a horse and buggy, life on the farm, or service in the military.

For years, Steve could be seen at the Bob's Big Boy or Chicken Pie Shop for breakfast with newspaper in hand and signature hat on his head.

Steve served as a Master Technical Sergeant in the US Army Air Corps during WWII where he used his keen mechanical and electrical skills to keep our war planes flying. As a consummate inventor, he was credited and received a Commendation for the improvement of the instruments of the P51 Mustang.

Upon returning from the war, he became co-owner of Valley Cleaners and Dye Works and Belmont Rug until his retirement.

Steve will be best remembered for his bountiful summer gardens and as the person who could fix just about anything.

Steve passed away on August 25, 2010 at the age of 97.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annabelle Mosesian; and his sisters, Rose Michaelian and Florence Mosesian.

He is survived by his sister; a nephew and his wife; a niece and her husband; a great niece; a great-nephew and his wife; and great-great nephew.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home followed by Interment at Belmont Memorial Park on Monday, August 30, 2010.

The family requests donations be made to the California Armenian Home, 6720 E. Kings Canyon Rd. Fresno, Ca. 93727.
