Sylvia Roberts, 66, Sheridan, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at Sheridan Memorial Hospital. Born Feb. 16, 1939, in Fredericksburg, Va., she married Oakey Roberts on March 30, 1963.
Mrs. Roberts worked for Marion Day Care, Children's Center, YMCA Day Care, and I Can Day Care. She was an active member of Sunrise Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed knitting, spending time with children and their families, church activities, and friends.
Her husband died in 1976.
Survivors include a daughter, Melinda Roberts-Romsa of Cheyenne; and three grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Sunrise Assembly of God Church, Pastor John Jackson officiating. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
