Passed away Sept. 19, 1974 at Bronson Hospital. Mr. Fleckenstein was born June 21, 1905 in Kalamazoo, son of Leo Fleckenstein and Margaret Laughlin and was a life resident here. Previous to his retirement, he was employed at Unifab Corp. for 30 years. A member of St. Joseph Church. Surviving are his wife, Norine Simonds; two sons Paul James of Leonidas and Thomas Joseph of Kalamazoo; 5 grandchildren, Kimmie, Cammie, Kevin, susie and Brian; one brother Louis of Vicksburg and sister Miss Mary Fleckenstein of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Redmond Funeral Home after 2 pm Saturday where the rosary will be recied Sunday evening at 7:00. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church Monday morning at 10. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
