WAR KILLS IDAHOHAN

WASHINGTON--The Department of Defense announced Friday that Army Spec. 4 Randy K. Bronson of Meridian, Idaho, had been killed in action in Vietnam. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Keith E. Bronson.

MERIDIAN--Services for Randy K. Bronson, 20, of Meridian, who died May 13 in Vietnam while on active military duty, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Robison Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian, by Bishop Steven Mortenson of the Meridian Second Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment with full military rites will follow at Meridian.

He was born Jan. 6, 1949, at Burley. He attended schools in Twin Falls, Boise, and Meridian, before entering the Army in April of 1968.

He was a member of the LDS Church. He had been a member of the Boy Scouts of America.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Bronson, Meridian; two brothers, Kent L. and Danny E. Bronson, both at home; two sisters, Kristie and Kimberly Bronson, also both at home; his grandparents, Lamar and Lena Anderson of Burley, and Mrs. Beth Thomas of Burley.
