Charles Moore was born at Castle Mountain, Alberta

MOORE Charles Clarence, Formerly of Malakwa, B.C. passed away November 21 1989 in Terrace, B.C. at the age of 84. He was predeceased by his wife Florence; brothers Jimmy, Johnnie and Joe and sister Dorothy. He is survived by 5 children, Clement and wife Pat; Eugene and wife Nina; Laurie and wife Liz; Bonnie and husband George; and Cheryl and husband Larry; 16 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Albert and Alfred, 2 sisters, Florence and Helen; 5 foster children, Rose, Kim, Paddy, Donna and Darlene. A memorial service conducted by Elder Malcolm Graham was held at the Salmon Arm Seventh-Day Adventist Church on November 25. Interment was in the Mt. Ida cemetery. Charles Moore is remembered as a quiet gentle father. He was a kind man who helped friends and neighbors whenever there was a need.

. After Charlie left the homestead at Chase, in 1933 he and his brothers James and Johnny went to Yankee Flats to work cutting railroad ties. Married on July 16 1933 to Florance Macil Alberta Ames in Silver Creek at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Charlies sister Florence Moore of Chase B.C. was Bridesmaid and Malcolm Campbell of Salmon Arm was best man ,
Some years later he sold his land to brother James and moved to Malakwa, to work in logging. Left to live with son Laurie in Terrace B.C. were he passed away, they also raised five Foster children Rose, Kim, Paddy and Donna ,Darlene
