Emerson Stottlemyer Obituary
Emerson O. Stottlemyer, 73, 1610 W. 17th St. , Muncie, a former Madison County
resident, died at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. Born July 8, 1887, the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Stottlemyer, he went to Muncie about 40 years ago. He
retired from Warner Gear plant in 1955. He was a member of UAWA Local 287 and
Warner Gear Employees Sympathy Club.
A son, Melvin, of Muncie, survives.
The body was taken to the Paul C. Cory Funeral Home at Fortville, where services
will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Howard Perrine of the Fortville
Christian Church. Burial will be in the Gravel Lawn Cemetery. Friends are
being received at the funeral home.
