Virlce L. Pierce, 74, 13 Main, Wattsburg, died Tuesday evening (Jan 1976) at his residence. He was born in Greenfield Township, October 22, 1901, son of the late Bronson and Bertha Mae Prindle Pierce. He was a retired carpenter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Sugden Pierce, in 1965. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dean (Viola) Bell of Ft. Myers, Fla.; three grandchildren, Mrs. Fran Cass Larks of Waltham, Mass., Jerry E. Cass of Harborcreek, and John Cass of Austin Tex.; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the W. Allen Firman Funeral Home, 1216 Bartlett Rd., Harborcreek, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and may attend services Monday at 2 p.m., with Rev. Sheldon Logan of Harborcreek's United Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in North East Cemetery.
