Nell LaDean Price Peden, 78, of Turlock died Saturday at her home. Mrs. Peden was a native of Leflore, Oklahoma, and had lived in Turlock since 1943. She had owned various restaurants. She enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by her brother, Jack Price of Panola, Oklahoma; sisters, Lila "Bug" Ward of Oakland, Lee Langston of Thackerville, Oklahoma, Betty Ann Price of Gainesville, Texas, and Margaret Sprouse of Athens, Texas; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Peden; son, Michael Peden; and two sisters.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Allen Mortuary.
Private burial at Turlock Memorial Park.

Mrs. Peden was born and raised in Laflore, Oklahoma and died Saturday of natural causes at her residence in Turlock.
She moved to Turlock in 1943, and had lived here ever since. She owned several restaurants.
Survivors include her brother, Jack Price of Panola, Oklahoma: sisters, Lila "Bug" Ward of Oakland, Lee Langston of Thackerville, Oklahoma, Betty Ann Price of Gainesville, Texas and Margaret Sprouse of Athens, Texas; and two grandchildren.
Allen Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
