Ralph Howard McDaniel married Margaretta Angeline Daugherty on January 6, 1927, at the Asbury Methodist parsonage in Los Angeles. The Rev. Harry C. Slater performed the ceremony. Howard and Margaret, as they were known by, had two daughters. After their daughters were grown, Howard and Margaret, both graduated from LIFE Bible College in Los Angeles, and were ordained ministers. Howard and Margaret help found the Brawley Foursquare Church, and were co-pastors there. Howard had to work as a railroad engineer as the new church was not self-supporting.
