Mahlon E. Harding Dies Here at Age 81.
Mahlon E. HARDING, 81, 100 Hawthrone, died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 10, 1879, in Douglas County.
He was the owner of the Harding Wheel Company of Topeka from 1904 until he retired in 1950.
He was a member of the Potwin Presbyterian Chuch, and the Modoc Singing Club.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ida Harding of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Malcolm CLOUGH of Annadale, Va.; two sons, Roy K. and F. Earl, both of Leawood, Kan.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Wall-Diffenderfer Chapel with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
