OBITUARY :
RAY BOOKS SEE, age 80 of Thorn View Drive, Moorefield, WV passed away Saturday morning, September 27, 2003 at the E.A. Hawse Continuous Care Center in Baker, WV. Born March 23, 1923 in Bass, WV he was a son of the late A. J. & Roxanna V. (See) See. Ray was a veteran of the US Army of WWII, a member of the John M. Golliday Post #64 American Legion and was a retired groundskeeper for the Patauxent Green Golf Course in Laurel, MD. Two brothers and an infant son preceded him in death.

Surviving is a daughter, Shelia Champ and husband Roger of Moorefield; of which whom Ray resided; two brothers, Clyde M. "Mack" See, Sr. of Moorefield and Conway See of Moorefield; a sister, Gladys Neff of Inwood, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services were conducted Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at the Bethel Cemetery at Old Fields, WV with Pastor Brad Taylor officiating. The US Army and the Moorefield Veteran's Honor Guard accorded military Graveside Rites.

Memorials may be directed to the E.A. Hawse Continuous Care Center, P.O. Box 70, Baker, WV 26801, or to the charity of choice.
