SHEWMAKER
Mr. Christopher C. Shewmaker died of Bright's disease, at his late home, five miles north of town, on the Warwick road, Thursday, 1 o'clock, a. m. He was a widower, without children, and was about 73 years old. He was a good farmer, a business man, a faithful christian and a deacon in the Baptist church, here. The funeral was conducted, yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the Baptist church, by the pastor, Rev. J. F. Williams and the interment was in Spring Hill cemetery.
