BRUCE PENNINGTON IS DEAD
FUNERAL TO BE AT MACEDONIA CEMETERY

Emil Bruce Pennington, aged 35, assistant buyer at the Post Exchange at Oceanside, California, died there Saturday, and the body will be brought here for burial. Bruce was a veteran of World War II, having served oversea.

He was born near Arkadelphia, May 29, 1917, son of E.A. and Mattie Borland Pennington. He was educated at Arkadelphia High School. He is also survived by his wife, the former Miss Jeanne Horne of Hot Springs, a daughter Tanda, and a son, Bruce Jr.; four brothers , Earl and Cecil of Idabel, Okla., Claude of Morton, Pa., and Guy of Camden; and three sisters, Mrs. Ed Neal of Wichita Falls, Tx., Mrs. Tom Hicks of North little Rock, and Mrs. Francis Byers of Augusta, Ga.

The funeral will be at Macedonia Church near Dalark at 2:30 p.m. Friday, by rev B.F. Lowrance. Burial will be in the Macedonia Cemetery.

BROTHER OF IDABEL MEN DIES MONDAY

Bruce Pennington, 35, Oceanside, Calif., brother of Cecil and Earle Pennington of Idabel, OK, died at his home Monday.

A veteran of 12 years in the Marines, he was a civilian employee at Camp Pendleton at the time of his death.

Funeral services will be held at Arkadelphia, Ark., probably Saturday.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Pennington, Arkadelphia; his widow; two children, four brothers, and three sisters.
