Jacob came to the United States with his parents in 1850.
He was married in 1863 to Rachel Barnett.
She & Jacob were the parents of these named children:
~ Anna,who died at the age of 14 years,about 1878.
~ Jacob Hoeh,Jr.,of High River,Alberta,Canada;
~ Dr. D.H. Hoeh of Punxsutawney.
After Rachel's death,he was married to Mrs. Margaret Veit in 1874. She & Jacob had one child:
~ Mrs. Edith Williard,of Punxsutawney.
After,Margaret's death,Jacob was married a third time to Mrs.[sic] Lizetta Keifer and to that union five children were born:
~ Margaret;
~ Laura;
~ Rose;
~ Carl Hoeh,all living at home;
~ Mrs. Bertha Moore,of Burlingame,Kansas.
