Pauline M. Brown

A 40 year residence of Torrance, CA passed away on Friday, August 27, 2010 in Torrance. Born in Effingham, IL, Pauline was 91 when she died.

Pauline was a member of the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She graduated from high school and immediately started work at North American Aviation and then worked at Rockwell as a secretary. She loved cats and going to Hollywood Park. Her hobbies were collecting antiques and dancing. She supported the Pet Adoption Fund, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and an Indian organization.

Pauline is survived by a nephew, William Brown of CA and three nieces, Rebecca Brown, Catherine Hubbard and Wanda Grubb, all of Indiana.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2010, at McMillan-McCormick in Gardena from 2-5 PM. The Service will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 10 AM. A Reception will follow at McMillan-McCormick Mortuary in Gardena from 12:30-4 PM.
