John Noble Boston, 77, died at a Nashville hospital Tuesday afternoon following an abdominal operation the day previous. Mr. Boston never fully revived from the ordeal. He had been removed to the institution Sunday following an illness of a weeks duration at his home.

Born in Lyon County, near Lamasco, he removed to Nashville, Tenn. with his mother at the age of six, where he attended public schools. Later the family settled on a farm in Crittenden near Levias where Mr. Boston was employed for a number of years. Shortly after marriage to Miss Hattie Nunn he made Marion his home, engaging in furniture and undertaking business, groceries, farming, and later opening the firm of J.N. Boston & Sons.

Survivors are three children, Maurie, Owensboro; Ted, city; and Mrs. Herbert Rogers, Nashville, Tenn.
