MERIDIAN - Graveside services for Thomas H. Mayes, 91, a former Meridian, Ida. resident who died Saturday, May 20, 1967, in Lancaster, Calif., will be conducted Wednesday at the Meridian Cemetery by the Rev. Ralph Fothergill, minister of the Meridian Methodist Church. The cortege will leave Robison Chapel of the Chimes at 4 p.m.
Mr. Mayes was born in 1878 in Arkansas and lived in Rosamond, Calif., at the time of his death. He lived in Boise and Nampa and moved to California from Meridian 12 years ago.
Surviving are five sons, Roy of Eagle, Ida., Gilbert of Coville, Calif., Cecil and Earl, both of Wichita, Kan., and Dale Mayes, in Montana; three daughters, Mrs. Lola Bryan of Bakersfield, Calif., Mrs. Freda Kennedy of Rosamond and Mrs. Helen Tingle of Madras, Ore.; and two brothers, William E. and Ward H. Mayes, both of Meridian.
