Helen Cary Baker

Helen Cary Baker passed away on May 31, 2016, at the age of 88.

She is the widow of Charley Baker of Jackson TN.

She is survived by her brothers, James Cary of Martin TN, Homer Cary of Atlanta GA, Lloyd Cary of San Clemente CA, her son, Charley Baker, Jr., (Babs) of Jackson TN , her daughter Cary McCaghren, of Memphis TN; and two grandchildren Paul McCaghren (Carrie) and Matthew McCaghren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Rayburn Cary and Magnolia Cary; sister, Bonnie Cummings and sister, Aileen Cary.

Helen retired from a production supervisor position with the Quaker Oats Company. She also worked for TEA, the Milan Arsenal, for her church The North Jackson Church of Christ, and was an Avon representative for many years. She is loved and will be missed.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday morning, June 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. with burial in Highland Memorial Gardens.
