Mark Stern, 89, of Logansport, died at 9:05 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010.
He was born near Noblesville on Nov. 9, 1920 to the late Samuel D. and Maggie Wheeler Stern. He married Florence Fulton on June 3, 1942. She died in October 2009. Four sisters also preceded him in death.
Surviving are his children, Duane Mark Stern (wife: Nancy) of Arcadia, Lucy Smith (husband: Scott) of Camden, Diana Heiss (husband: Butch) of Sparta, Michigan, Dale Stern and Steve Stern, both of Lafayette, Ken Stern (wife: Ellen) of Littleton, Colorado, Bonnie O'Neill (husband: Jim) of Pensacola, Fl. and Rex Stern (wife: Sue) of Delphi; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
