Interment followed in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Leakesville with Rev. Danny Collins officiating the services.
A native of Mobile, County, Ala., he was a retired farmer. A member of the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, he died on September 24, 2004.
He is survived by two sons, T. E. Blankinchip, Jr. of Citronelle, Ala. and Marvin Blankinchip of Lucedale; two daughters, Sandra Coady of Pensacola, Fla. and Frances Byrd of Leakesville; a sister, Odea Givens of Citronelle, Ala.; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Feeeman Funeral Home in Leakesville was in charge of arrangements.
