St. Clair -- Helen "Eleanor" Delore, 84, of St. Clair, died Sunday, Sept. 13, 1998 in Faith Medical Center following a long illness.
She was born July 29, 1914 in Detroit to Joseph and Dora Raymond Vossen. She married Frederick C. Delore on March 20, 1936 in Angola, Indiana. together they owned and operated Delore Poultry Farm and Trucking Inc. in St. Clair until their retirement.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Frederick ; one daughter, Joanne (Richard) Klieman Sr. of St. Clair; three sons, Edward (Kathy) Delore Sr. of St. Clair, John Delore of Tonawanda, New York and Robert Delore Sr.; one sister, Lucille (Frederick) Schwiehofer of St. Clair; and one brother, Mr and Mrs. Norman Vossen of Midland; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick Vossen.
Visitation is today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9p.m. in the L. C. Friederichs and son Funeral Home, St. Clair.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 A.M. from the First United Methodist Church, St. Clair with the Rev. Thomas Schomaker officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mrs. Delore's grandsons, Robert Delore Jr., Norman Delor, Richard Kliemann Jr., Steven Klieman, Edward Delore Jr., Dennis Delore and David Tackaberry.
