A retired school bus driver with Livingston Parish School Board and a resident of Port Vincent, she died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 1997, in Baton Rouge.
She was 58 and a native of Galvez. Interment in St. Williams Catholic Church, Port Vincent Survived by husband, Walter J. "Bootsy" Abbott, Port Vincent; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jenny and Lawrence Guitreau, French Settlement, and Barbara and Terry Lambert, Port Vincent; four sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Cindy Abbott, Johnny and Terri Abbott, Simon and Missy Abbott and Wayne and Barbara Abbott, all of Port Vincent; two sisters, Earline Persac, Port Vincent, and Irene Buratt, Harriet, Ark.; a brother, S.J. Persac, Galvez; nine grandchildren, a great-grandchild and numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Preceded in death by parents, John M. and Daisy Parker Persac; a sister; and a grandson, Paul Abbott.
