Doyal Hoover was born in Nuckolls County, Nebraska, May 30, 1893 and died in the hospital at York Nebraska, Dec 8, 1923, aged 30 years, 6 months and 8 days. He was married to Myrtle Taylor of Edgar, Nebraska, March 15, 1916 and to this union were born three children: Lester, Davida and Garland. He spent practically all his life in this vicinity where he was widely and fovorably (sin) known. He leaves his wife, three children, mother, five brothers and five sisters; his father, three brothers and one sister preceding him in death. Mr Hoover was stricken about a week ago with appendicitis and though taken to the York Hospital as soon as possible failed to survive the strke (sic). Funeral services were conducted from his late home, five miles from Edgar, Sunday at 2 P.M. Mr Charles A. Shook, minister of the Christian Church of Edgar, officiating after which interment was made in the Edgar Cemetery.
