Cheboygan - Lorel "Primo" Ardune, 78, of Munro Township, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003.
He was born in New York, N.Y. on May 11, 1925, the son of Tony and Alice (Wardlow) Ardune.
Primo served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Judy Ginop on Jan. 19, 1966, in Detroit.
Primo was employed for many years with the Michigan Employment Security Commission. He retired in 1988.
Primo enjoyed Dixieland music as well as music in general and he played drums in a band for several years. He also loved to watch sports on TV, especially hockey.
Primo is survived by his wife, Judy; and several cousins.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
