Born 15 Aug 1929 in Keokuk she was a dau of Leroy & Helen Betts Lofton & was graduated with the class of 1947 from Senior High School where she was a major of the Girls Prep Squad. Except for 4yrs in Hamilton, she had lived in Keokuk since birth. On 22 Nov 1953 in Keokuk, she married EdwardT Kane. She was a member of First Christian Church, Chapter BQ-TTT & was a former member of the Order of Rainbow for Girls. Surviving are her husband, a dau: LisaAnn, her father MayorLR Lofton-Keokuk; 2 bros: Ralph & LeroyE & nieces-nephews. Her mother died 26 Oct 1961. Services will be held Wed in DeJongs Funeral Home with RevEllsworth Woods & Walker Butler officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cem.
