Lived in Boston at 104 Marlboro St and ran a hardware store at 210 Franklin St which he had to rebuild after the Boston Fire of 1871. He moved his family about 1870 into a large country house built on Powderhouse Rd, West Medford. His son Dr Lincoln Sise, a pioneering anaesthesiologist, lived in the house after him until it was torn down about 1921. His daughter Gertrude married Leonard Tufts, developer of the Pinehurst resort in Moore County, NC and his son Lyman was a Boston architect.
