On 5 Aug 1850, William Applegate, 50, was residing with his wife, Christiana, 40, and children, Caroline, 16, Emma, 14, Joseph, 13, Amanda, 10, George, 7, Andrew, 5, and Minerva, 3, in Lower St. Clair Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. William P. Applegate was born on 27 Nov 1800 in New Jersey, to Andrew and Lydia Applegate. He died due to a fall on 15 Mar 1863 in Chartiers Township, Allegheny County, aged 52 years. He was a carpenter and the husband of Christiania Applegate. Interment was in Mount Pisgah, Chartier's Township. [Pennsylvania Death Certificate #213]
