Funeral rites were held Tuesday afternoon from the Heyer mortuary for Charles F. Hill, long-time resident, who died at his home here on Saturday night.
Mr. Hill had been in ill health for several weeks and felt badly after retiring on Saturday.
He arose and was sitting in a chair in his home when the end came suddenly.
Burial was in the Steamboat Springs cemetery.
Charles F. Hill was born February 03, 1879, in Pleasant Hill, Ohio.
He came to Routt County in 1907 and made his home here continuously from that time.
He at first engaged in blacksmithing and later took up a homestead near Milner. Of late years, he had been retired.
Surviving Mr. Hill are his widow, two sons, three daughters, and several grandchildren.
