Mrs.Grace Ide Dies at Home, 800 South Fourth
Prominent Local Woman Has Been Ill Several Weeks

Mrs. Grace Hawthorne Ide died at 8 o'clock last night at the family residence, 800 South Fourth Street. Death came after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Ide was the wife of Harry L. Ide, a member of the board of directors and building manager of the Ridgely-Farmers' State Bank.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Ide is survived by one son and two daughters: Robert L. Ide and Miss Charlotte A. Ide of this city, and Mrs. Dorothy Ide Barnes, wife of Donald Barnes, of St. Louis; also three grandchildren, Anita, Donald and Harrison Barnes.
Mrs. Ide was born in Amboy, Illinois and came to Springfield in her girlhood days. Until five years ago when she met with an accident she was active in social and charitable work. She was a woman of charming personality and her death is a distinct loss to the community. Mrs. Ide was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian church and a member of the Work Together circle of King's Daughters.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the residence. Rev. W. R. Cremcans and Rev. H. H. Pittman will officiate. Interment will be made in Oak Ridge Cemetery .
