A son of William Arthur & Blanch Winslow Bowers Sr.
He was a brother these known siblings:-
~ Edward Bowers,
~ William Arthur Bowers Jr.,
~ Sarah Bowers,
~ Edith "Fluffy" Bowers.

He was a World War II veteran and served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater with the 25th Infantry Division. He was a Staff Sargent in Hawaii, Guadalcanal,Aukland ,New Zealand, New Caladonia and Luzon,Philipines.

During his service time,he earned the Asiatic Theater Ribbon with 3 bronze stars, the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with 1 bronze star and a Good Conduct Ribbon.He was honorably discharged on July of 1945.

He was a Baron in the Baronial Order of the Magna Charta and worked as a Manager in the retail sales field in Texas & Baltimore,Maryland. He retired to Punxsutawney and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

He passed away while visiting family in Michigan.
