Michael Scott English, 44 of Duncan, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, at Duncan Regional Hospital in Duncan.
Private memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Local arrangements under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. There is no visitation at the funeral home
He was born Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1965, in Duncan, the son of Jerry B. and Judith (Bodnar) English.
Scotty attended First Presbyterian Church with his family in his early years and graduated from Duncan High School in 1984.
He had worked as a cook for several restaurants in Duncan and Chickasha and most recently had worked as a truck driver for Southwest Foods in Duncan.
Survivors include his mother, Judy Bodnar of Midwest City, a brother and sister-in-law, Clifford and Terry English of Duncan, a daughter, Ciera Marie, two nieces, Jennifer Field of Duncan and Susan Goldsberry of Waurika, aunts, uncles and cousins: Beth and Ralph Gutierrez and daughter, Angela of Lucerne Valley, Calif., George and Tana Bodnar and sons, George J., Jason and daughter Michelle of Anaheim, Calif., Phillip and Alice Bodnar and daughter Sara of Ione, Calif., Jean Ann and Francis Reed and sons Eric and James of Dallas, Texas and Cliffa and Les Belinski and sons Brian and Jeffrey of Surrey Hills.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry B. English, paternal grandparents, Clifford G. and Marguerite English, maternal grandparents, George P. and Ardith Bodnar, an aunt, Patricia Bodnar and an uncle, Richard Bodnar.
