Thelma E. McCarl, 87, St. Augustine, died Jan. 9, 2002, at Flagler Hospital. She was born in Cape May, N.J., and she had resided in St. Augustine most of her life. She was co-owner of McCarl Auto Marine and Refrigeration Services.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel of Craig Funeral Home, with the Rev. Deena Galantowicz, associate rector of Trinity Episcopal Parish, officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at Craig chapel from 10 a.m. Saturday, until the hour of services.
Survivors include three daughters, Jeannine Auth, St. Augustine, Barbara Acosta, Jacksonville, Donna Torrey, Fruit Cove; one son, Gene McCarl Jr., Fruit Cove; seven grandchildren, eight grandchildren and other relatives.
