Charles Allen Delor
St. Clair - Charles A. Delor, age 69,of St. Clair, died April 23, 2009. HE had gone home to be with the Lord after his year long battle with cancer. He was born July 1, 1939 in ST. Clair to the late Charles "Pink" Delor and Muriel Delor.
Chuck was a member of ST. Mary's Parish and devoted his life to meeting the needs of others with hie charitable gifts.
He is survived by a brother, Tony (Sherry) Delor; sister, Mary (Tom) Zobl; nieces and nephews, Tony, Tine, Karrie, and Dan Delor, Christine (Doug) Newberry, Tom Zobl Jr., Marty (Joleen) Zobl, Scott (Katia) Zobl, Tracy (Dan) Coverdill, and Amy (Dan) Boddy; and many great nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister Janet Grauherr.
Services will be held Monday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Saturday 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Sunday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, and Monday 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. prior to Mass at the church. A Rosary will be said Saturday at 7:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the St. Clair Ecumenical Food Pantry, St. Bonaventure Eucharistic Mission Bank or to the wishes of the family.
