Robert John Brinker Sr. St. Clair Robert John Brinker Sr., age 74, died December 29, 2009. Born July 18, 1935 in St. Clair to the late Henry and Marie Brinker. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Margaret Goulette on January 23, 1954. Robert was employed at Diamond Crystal Salt Company and later worked for, and retired from New Haven Foundry. Robert was an avid hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed baseball. His passion for his family and friends was unprecedented and his passion for life will be sadly missed. Robert is survived by his wife, Margaret Brinker. Children; Robert Jr. (Mary) Brinker, Gerry (Pam) Brinker), Tom Brinker, and Mary (Tom) Frishcosy. He is the loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11a.m. at Young Funeral Home with the Rev. Max Amstutz officiating. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association .
