Deborah Finch Anders, 69, of Ravenden, Ark., died Sunday, November 23, 2008, after an extended illness at St. Bernard's Medical Center.

She was born May 24, 1939 in Fletcher, N.C. to the late Floyd W. Finch Sr. and Ruth Mallory Finch. Also preceding her in death were two husbands, Ross W. Lamb who died in 1980, and Gerald D. Anders who died in 2001.

Deborah, (known as Debbie to family and friends), attended Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Fla. and Eckard College in St. Petersburg, Fla. Debbie worked for the Sarasota Police Dept. for nearly five years and then joined the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office from which she retired in 1996 after more than 33 years of service.

Survivors include her siblings, the Rev. Floyd Wm. Finch Jr., Morris M. Finch Sr., Ruth F. Davis, Adrian F. Finch and Mada F. Hare and two aunts, Beth Mallory Allison and Lois Hicks Finch. Special friends, Joe and Bonnye Rayburn.

A memorial service and burial will be held at Calvary Episcopal Church, Fletcher, N.C., with the Rev. Victor Mansfield officiating.
