SGT EDWARD J. GARGANO USMC, AGE 21. 2ND MARINE DIV, 22ND MAU, BLT 2/8, WEAPONS co. TOOK PART IN THE INVASION OF GRENADA, AND AS A PEACE-KEEPER IN BEIRUT, LEBANON. WAS KILLED IN ACTION AT THE US/UK EMBASSY. HE WAS THE 258TH U.S. SERVICEMAN TO DIE SINCE U.S. FORCES ENTERED LEBANON IN SEPT 1982.
