Roger served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Several years ago, he worked at Seth Thomas Clocks in Boscawen and worked at Elektrisola in Boscawen until his retirement. Roger loved the outdoors, spending time with his family. He greatly enjoyed his grandchildren, campfires and boating.
Family members include his wife of 31 years, Joyce (Douglas) Ano of Northfield; three children, Roger J. Ano Jr. and his wife, Sherry, of Belmont, Tina M. Ano of Northfield, and Tonya Cullen and her husband, Zachary Cullen Sr., of Northfield; six grandchildren; four sisters, Connie Ano of Plattsburg, N.Y., Norine Starr of Winchester, Va., Barbara Spooner of Keeseville, N.Y., and Linda Depo of Winchester; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a grandson, Zachary Cullen Jr., who died in 2001; and two brothers, Calvin Ano and Francis Ano.
