Obituary - Perth Courier - Nov.23,1950 -
Mrs. Minnie Ferguson - The sudden passing of Mrs. Minnie Ferguson occurred on November 5th at her home at McDonald's Corners to which she had returned only the day previous from Kingston General Hospital, where she had been a patient for the preceeding four weeks, receiving treatment for arthritis, but seemed in her usual health up to the time of her death. Deceased was born at Elphin, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Nisbet, where she lived until her marriage on November 14th, 1918, to John Arthur Ferguson, after which they resided at Snow Road until coming to McDonald's Corners in 1945, Mr. Ferguson passing away in September of that year. She was a very devoted wife and mother, leaving to mourn her loss two sons, Lindsay and David, of McDonald's Corners, and a brother, D. J. Nisbet, of Elphin. The funeral was conducted by her minister, Rev. T. W. Brett, from her home to Knox Presbyterian Church. Interment was at Crawford's Cemetery on Tuesday, November 7th.
