Charles W Speich was born in Cedarvale, the son of Julius Speich and the former Lena Rachel Stevens. Mr Speich had lived in Central New York most of his life. He was employed by the Easy Washer Company for 30 years as a factory supervisor and later joined Wickwire and Co., for four years. He retired in 1976 from the Oberdorfer Foundries Inc., and moved to Florida.Mr Speich was a communicant of the United Presbyterian Church of Cortland and a member of the Association for Retarded Children of Cortland County. He is survived by his wife, the former Berneice G Sutton, three daughters, Mrs Susan C Borland of North Syracuse, Mrs Cynthia K Higgins of Dover, Del., and Miss Bonnie G Speich, a son, Jerry A of Arvada, Colo., a sister, Mrs Ruth V. Mains of Seminole, Fla., and two brothers, Harold of Florida and Vernon J of South Onondaga. Burial will be in the family plot
in Highland Cemetery, Marcellus.
