Dorothy Rae Kretchet Minor

PITTSBURG, Kan. - Dorothy Rae Minor, 62, 549 S. 260th St., died at 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 1997, at Mount Carmel Medical Center after a long illness.
Mrs. Minor was born Aug. 20, 1935, at Columbus and was a lifetime Columbus and Pittsburg area resident.
She was graduated from Cherokee County High School, Columbus, in 1953.
She was a homemaker most of her life.
She married Oliver Minor on May 15, 1953, at Cherokee. He survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Kathryn Carr Hernandez, Webb City, Mo.; a son, Ray Minor, Neodesha; a sister, Jane Miller, Everett, Wash.; a brother, John F. Kretchet III, St. Louis, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Highland Park Cemetery, Pittsburg, with the Rev. Clifford Allmon officiating.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Friday at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, Pittsburg.
Friends are requested to meet at the cemetery Saturday.
Contributions may be made to the Girl Scouts-Blue Stem Council in care of the funeral home.
