During the sinking, he climbed down the ropes on the side of the Titanic and into Lifeboat #16 where he took command of that Lifeboat.
Henry Joseph Bailey passed away in 1943.
He was cremated at South Stoneham crematorium which is know longer there is ashes were scattered in the garden of rest.
