Mary Lou Rice, of Irving, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010. She was born May 22, 1938 in Dallas. Survivors include her husband Troy Rice of Irving; son Lonny Rice and wife Philieza of Irving; brother Johnny Roper; sisters Mickey Wile and Sandra Roper; grandchildren Joshua Cole Rice, Heather Marie Melton, Laura Lou Rice; and great granddaughter Hope Marie Alcantar. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Brown's Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jody Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday, August 11, 2010.
