Dolie Bell Saunders Barton, age 92, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, the widow of Jack Barton. She was retired from Roanoke City Nursing Home, a life time member of Saunders Grove Church of Brethren and also a member of Blue Ridge Church of The Brethren. Surviving are a two sons and daughther-in-law, L.C. (John D.) and Ruby Barton, Rt. 1 Vinton; Orville G. (Pete) Barton, Roanoke; two daughters and son-in-law, Juanita B. and Melvin Fizer, Bedford; Geraldine B. Carter, Blue Ridge; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Wednesday, November 13, 1991 from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Matthew Fike and the Rev. Berkley Stevens will officiate. Interment in Hillcrest Cemetery, Blue Ridge. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
