Catherine, Mary and Margaret were sisters who immigrated from Canada. Their parents came to Canada from Scotland.

The headstone indicates born 1858 and this may have been a calculated date. In the census she was born in July of 1859.

She was the head of the household in the 1900 census in Lynn Massachusetts and had immigrated in 1870. Her occupation was tailoress. Residing in the household with her were Isabel, Mary J. and Donald Macaulay, most likely siblings since Margaret was buried with Mary and Catherine. Isabell later married and was also buried in this cemetery.

The siblings all immigrated between 1879-1887.

In 1910 family resided in Lynn and, all were born in Canada and parents were born in Scotland. In 1920 Mary was running a boarding house and Margaret was working as a tailoress of men's clothing.

By 1930 they resided in a different location but still in Lynn and sister Catherine was now head of the household and sisters Mary and Margaret, now age 70, resided with her. None of the sisters were working at their advanced ages of 73, 68 and 70. Also in the household was their brother-in- law William Hornblower age 57 and his daughter Isabell age 19. William is the only member of the household working and was an instrument maker at General Electric.

Sister Jane Agnes (Macaulay) Hornblower was also buried in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Margaret died at approximately 74 yrs of age.
