Blanche Faye Green grew up in Kansas (and briefly in Oklahoma and New Mexico where she met Don Runyon as a teenager). She married Donald Mark Runyon in Eskridge on August 26, 1929 and they went, following the wedding, east by train to Don's first pastorate at Hartford, Connecticut. Blanche and Donald had three children (two surviving sons and a daughter, Margaret Nell). Following Donald's death in 1956, Blanche married Herbert Boschen on November 1, 1958.
