She was interred in the Gettysburg National Cemetery on December 26, 1969.

On Friday, December 19, 1969, at the Washington Hospital Center, IRENE KENNEDY BARTLETT, of 3900 Connecticut Avenue, N.W., sister of Mrs. Ruth Anderson, friends of Louise Given of 3900 Connecticut Avenue, N.W. Friends may call at Joseph Gawler's Sons, 5130 Wisconsin Avenue, at Harrison Streets N.W. (parking on premesis) on Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass will be offered at St. Thomas the Apostles Catholic Church, 27th and Woodley Road, N.W., on Monday, December 22, at 11 a.m. Interment in Gettysburg National Cemetery, Gettysburg, Pa., on Friday, December 26.
