Patricia, 83, passed away Friday, at her home, following a lingering illness. She was born the daughter of the late Francis Edward & Cecilia (LaPratt) Jacques, and was a lifelong area resident. Pat graduated from Caro High School with the class of 1945. Prior to graduation, she began a twenty year career at Carl Palmer Rexall Drug Store, retiring in 1964. Pat was united in marriage with Clare H. Frick on November 24, 1945. Pat and Clare enjoyed traveling with their family in every direction, from Boston to San Francisco, and the Florida Keys to Montana, as well as spending winters in Florida for more than thirty years. Pat was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro, a past president of the K of C Women's Auxiliary and an active member of TOPS Club. During her free time, she enjoyed making crafts of all kinds, knitting, cross stitching and cross word puzzles
Pat is survived by her loving husband of over sixty-four years, Clare H. Frick of Caro; one son and his wife, Charles H. & Paula Frick of Vassar; fifteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her son Edward Frick; and daughter, Cece Westendorf; one brother, Walt Jacques; and five sisters, Louise Urban, Elizabeth Miller, Victoria VanDePutte, Gloria Martin and Rita Sarles.
