He was a projectionist for the Baxter Avenue Theatres, a former manager for the old Vogue Theatre, until its closing in 1998, a part time employee of Horner Novelty Co. and a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his parents, two sisters, two brothers, three nieces, two nephews, and a great-niece.
A celebration of Carl's life will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday. Memorial gifts may be made to his church's memorial fund.
